Friendly and homely in feel. People on staff are only too happy to suggest places to visit (listen carefully) because the advise is good. Dinner meals are good and reasonably priced and the rooms are clean, yes somewhat small but with a vista that surpasses most you won't be spending much time hanging about in your room; even though you... We stayed here for one night in late April and enjoyed our brief stay. Not one word of english was spoke by the owners but that was all good, we managed to communicate on a basic level and enjoyed it. Room was clean and spacious and staff friendly, we had a huge ocean view balcony. Parking was free and plentiful... More

The only drawback to this hotel is the location if you do not drive a car. If you do, there is plenty of parking at the hotel. There are no taxis in the cinque Terre, so you must rely upon the public transport bus which only runs up to Due Gemelli a few times a day. We did not know this... More

If you're after 4 or 5 star luxury go elsewhere. If you're interested in good clean comfortable accommodation with some added bonuses then this could be the place for you. We stayed for two nights and that's all you need to see Cinque Terra. One full day on the train and walking is all you need to see the 5... More

We've been at the Hotel 2 Gemelli with my wife this last week-end for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is very well located if you wanna spend 2 days in the 5 Terre area : at the very far south end of the National Park you can reach easly Riomaggiore and from there start your trip through the wonderful area.... This is a Family run hotel with a great view. The hotel is probably from the seventies, so is a bit dated. Is a good place to start visiting Cinque Terre if you have a car, because of the free parking. The bus to Riomaggiore stops in front of the hotel, so thats a plus. The bad thing is that... More

Great location, easy to find and parking is a bonus. More like a roadside motel but more than adequate and comfortable. Fantastic dinner and breakfast with a real family feel. If you want to see the villages - take the boat. The trainline can be delayed (we waited over an hour) and travels mainly thought tunnel, sadly we did not... More

A nice & clean simple family run hotel + restaurant with affordable price tag. A+ = free parking at hotel and Manarola.

We found this mom and pop establishment just by luck and it turned into a wonderful memory. Were the accommodations comfortable? Not really. Was it old and dated? Yes, but the charm of the entire place was worth it. The family was more than accommodating, generous and made every effort to ensure the comfort of our stay. We had 2... More

It is a very home-like feeling where the staff tries their best to help you. The accomodations are very basic but clean and we loved our glasses of wine on our terasse which was the size of a room in and of itself! The food was very good home-like Italian cooking and everything we had was very good. Thank-you, Monica,... More
