Everything was great: the staff are very helpful, the maids never disturbing, the breakfast was also good. The only recommendation is to choose the executive double room - it has a jacuzzi and looks much better than all the other rooms, and it is worth. Overall, it is a great choice for all those who love old hotels: the interior... More

We have never visited Genoa before and there are not huge numbers of English tourists. There are a lot of Americans, partly because of Columbus, and overhearing a number of conversations many Americans were looking at their roots. There were a number of Australian visitors as well. As a result of the above I have never met anyone who has... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, using it as our base to explore Milan and Portofino as well as Genoa. Its proximity to the train station is fantastic for this type of trip. Just walk across a couple of crosswalks and you're at the hotel! The neighborhood feels safe, even at night. The ladies at the front desk were helpful and... More

We stayed here 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is across from train station which you mostly use to reach Genova and its also few minutes walk from historic area. Our room was very large with high ceiling and spacious bathroom. We had king size bed with great mattress. Since the hotel is next to street... More

This hotel had everything you could want! Great value, especially as excellent buffet breakfast included. Also the only hotel we stayed at in Italy that had tea/coffee making in the room. Large, well furnished and very clean rooms, excellent bathroom, helpful and courteous staff. Good location, very close to Central Station and the famous palazzi in Via Garibaldi. Short walk... More

Hotel Continental Genoa was a very pleasant experience. We chose it for it’s closeness to the cruise port (15 Euro cab fare) and it’s proximity to the main train station which we were going to take to Savona to catch another cruise ship. Side note:-when traveling by train in Italy, after you purchase your ticket, shortly before your departure, be... More

Stayed there for 3 nights at March 2012. As mentioned before almost everything were great: large rooms, helpful staff, well equipped bathrooms, fine value for money. Just one thing: if you want to spend your vacation only in Genoa - try to choose hotel closer to the city center (it takes about 20 min to get to Piazza Ferrari on... More

This hotel was right across central rail station--very convenient. Nicely appointed, friendly staff, very good breakfast buffet. Very large rooms--wife loved the bathroom appointments. Down the street was the Palace, University, many museums, near port , and other attractions. Wear good walking shoes .

My wife and I stayed at the Continental Hotel in Genoa for 1 night as part of an 8 week holiday through Europe, UK and Ireland. We chose the Continental based on price, location and also reviews from Trip Advisor. Our stay in Genoa was really a one night stop over as we travelled by train from Cinque Terre to... More

We stayed at this hotel for a night before going to Savona. The hotel is small but clean and comfortable. The location is excellent for us as we were going to take a train the next morning. Virtually less than 5 minutes walk to the station. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, recommending us to restaurants and finding out information... More
