The hotel is not placed in the center of Genoa. It is in an area called Boccadasse. You need to take a 20 minutes bus to get the downtown. My wife and I stayed here for 7 days from late May to early June 2008. We found it to be very good for our purposes. There is a nearby fishing village where the Genevese come because they find it chic. Lots of nearby, mainly seafood, restaurants.
