We stayed for a quick overnight last week, on the fifth floor. Rain was tapping over the ceiling hatch\window all night long. Breakfast was reasonable, but did not include any fruit of vegetables. Front desk concierge directed us to the upper city by foot, saying it is an easy 700 meter walk. Just re-checked on google maps. it's actually more... More

Hotel Piemontese,Plazza Marconi, Bergamo was a quality hotel in a central location with a friendly and excellent staff. Hotel Piemontese is in view accross the plazza when you arrive at the rail or bus station and with the plazza paving work near completion it will enhance the hotel's special location. The hotel is at the start of main avenue, Via... More

This is an ideal hotel for someone wanting to stay near the train station (either for a train or transportation to the airport). I would call it a business-style hotel, as opposed to the more personable small hotels or b&b's I stayed in throughout the rest of my Italy trip. The rooms are modern (although the small TV didn't have... More

We would like to thank you for choosing our Hotel Piemontese for your stay in the Amalfi Coast and for expressing your kind opinion. This is a nice hotel close to the train station. Rooms are large and comfortable with a large bathroom. Everything is VERY orange.......hotel is surrounded by roads so its noisy with the window open. TV has 100+ channels but nothing in English except CNN so be warned. Breakfast is adequate but nothing inspiring - weak coffee, tinned fruit, stale cakes... More

We just came back from a short city break to Italy, we flew into Bergamo and stayed 3 nights in the Hotel Piemontese. The hotel is so central to everything that it made our first time to Italy so easy. We were across the street from the tourist office, the bus station and the railway where we got buses and... More

The Piemontese staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was nice, and the free wifi worked perfectly. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Città Alta tram, but it's a nice walk and the hotel's proximity to the station is really convenient, if you're headed for Milan or other railway destinations. I can definitely recommend it.

I cant fault the staff here, they were lovely. Rooms were comfortable but nothing exceptional. If you are looking for a base and require zero wandering around Bergamo, it is great for this. Better than I expected! My second visit to this hotel. I suppose they have renovated the rooms - or at least last time the room left somewhat different impression. Now everything looked new and shiny! With this price you cannot expect wonders, but service and communication was great. Breakfast better than average, outperformed only by expensive places. I do not... More
