Stayed at Lido hotel Milan 4 nights. I was surprised by warm wellcoming atmosphere, clean and quiet room, good service, very helpful stuff, good value, just few meters from Lotto Metro station, close to Essellunga shopping center. Definetelly will stay at same hotel next visit in Milan.

Don't go there!!!!!!Very rude staff!!! You have to pay just in cash to evite taxes!!! Unbelievable hostility!Had to call the police to can leave the hotel! Never go there!!!

The Lido hotel located within walking distance to the San Siro stadium, so if you are in town on a Sunday in season, go and watch either AC Milan or Inter FC kick some butt. the front desk of night shift (or he is probably the manager) is very rude...unbelievable !! they told us to leave our passport with them and take our passports away because the night shift front desk said that "everybody does this in Italy." They took cash for the saty and used the credit card twice at the end withoyut informing and in all charging 1500 euros instead of 500 for one week. Wanting to extend the stay for a day they doubled the room rate. No wifi though it was promised during the booking. Marcello is a bad manager.

Very simple hotel with very simple furniture. There are 8 channels on TV. Seven Italian channels and only one is English but picture was running so forget it.
