I' m coming in Milan every year during Forniture Fair and, with my sorprice, I've found Contessa Jolanda very nice place to stay during this crazy week! Friendly and helpfull staff, the lady at the reception gave us good advices to see new spots . Our room was clean and big. For this hot period price was reasonable. The only...

It's Milan Furniture Fair week which means hotels like this can start charging €175 per person per night for a less-than-1-star hotel experience.
Even at half the price I would struggle to recommend this hotel.
Downsides:
- Location is terrible
- Concrete falling off the front and really tired interiors
- Hideous kitchenettes built into the room, with dirty electric...

business travel, the room is actually a small flat, with a not fully usable kitchen. Quite close to the metro and to the city center the position is not actually the best, specially for some after dinner life (I think that there isn't any around).
Quite silent and clean, the breakfast is tipically italian, a bit "undersized" compared to other...

We had the opportunity to stay for 2 nights in Milan at the Contessa Jolanda Hotel, we found this hotel was in a great location only minutes from the subway and 3 stations into Milan Central Station and it was very easy to find. We were close to many restaurants (approx 5 min walk) from the Hotel and there were...

I did not enjoy this hotel at all. Let me start by listing some of the issues I had:
- the lifts were not reliable. I tried going up to 8th floor for breakfast and the lift refused to go there. On other occasions, it would also just refuse to go to floor 0 or 4.
- Don't even think...

This hotel was fine. It was a bit far from center city, but was resonably priced and close to the metro. The directions to the hotel from metro were a bit confusing so I took the long way there. Once I found it, back and forth to metro station was easy. The room was nice and clean. The bed was...

Wonderful hotel! Very big rooms, with kitchen and balcony. Clean and quiet too. Breakfast was varied ( if you get there early ) and delicious. The restaurant has got a delightful atmosphere, decorated as a little boat. Nice staff, especially a receptionist who spoke good Spanish. In the lobby, you can have a free drink ( coffee, tea or juice...

You are in the slums of Milan if you stay here. Think of passed out homeless people on the park bench that is just behind the hotel. I didn't find it safe for my wife to be out alone in this area. The hotel itself is actually quite nice. We got a kitchenette with a descent size room (keeping in...

The location of the hotel is not the best, although the Metro is not too far away (about 10-15 minutes on foot). Air con was not great, but just about working. Window shutters were not working. Price was fantastic though.
