We arrived by car, weaving our way through narrow cobbled streets, with a few tight turns. The hotel's located in the old Jewish quarter of the city. After parking outside the hotel to unload, the car was parked for us in the hotel's garage. Everything's on the doorstep, lots of shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and beautiful buildings. Our room was... More

I staid 3 days for work. The hotel is located in the center of Padua and 20 minutes walk from rail station. The hotel is old but evrithing works. There is free wifi in every room. In the rooms you can find stone tables and solid wood furnitures. Evrything in order and working.

The room was very small, the bathroom was tiny. It is very well located , just 3 min from the main square. The staff was correct. Not a bad choice, but not a four star hotel. Vicente

Dear Guest First of all, allow us to thank you for having stayed with us and for the time you dedicate to our House. Whereas appreciations for the Hotel and, mostly, for the staff efficency and courtesy greatly gratify us for our job, observations like yours are precious tips to improve the Hotel standard and tailor our hospitality over the... My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at the Majestic Toscanelli the 3rd week in September. The hotel in located in the heart of the old town which is just wonderful to explore. The hotel was very nicely decorated and our junior suite was large and comfortable. We had no problems with the internet access. My wife is disabled,... More

I've never written one of these reviews before but I am eternally grateful for the helpful staff. On my flight over to Italy I had a crown fall out, horror. The staff went out of their way to hook me up with a nearby dentist (who did the job for free). I can't thank them enough! The hotel was good.... More

Padua is an ancient city. At some point in its long history, hotel Toscanelli may have been well described as "majestic" and have deserved 4 stars. But that must have been a long time ago. Now, their rooms here are worse than many 2 star hotels. The beds are wiry and far too small. The hot water does not work... More

With reference to your comment, it is our opinion that after your departure the room looked like something else than “child-safe”. For example, the telephone was not simply disconnected, but cable and phone were disassembled and left on the floor in two different sides of the room; the bed itself was displaced on the other wall; empty bottles, paper and... This hotel is a very quiet, conveniently located in the center of Padova. The breakfast buffet is very good, extensive choices including some hot food. A/C worked well which was a relief in July. The bed was a little hard, but the biggest problem is the WiFi internet. it only works in the lobby and even then it's very slow... More

This hotel was the only "luxury" property I could find in the center of Padua. The location was, indeed, excellent. The staff was very helpful. The rooms are sufficient but not luxurious. The bathrooms are small but functional (shower stall with a curtain that pulls around it). WiFi is included.

My wife is working in Padova so she booked a room in this hotel for me. I had no trouble finding it as the airport taxi took me directly to the door. I found the reception staff to be more than helpful and all spoke excellent English. Having read some the reviews which talk of a dated hotel I found... More
