A very big room, with lagoon view and a large bathroom, free wifi. Cozy breakfast area also with lagoon view. We had a very pleasant staying at La Rosa dei Venti, definitly this is the place to stay in Venice. We were here in March 2011.

The perfect location; the perfect host, and a beautiful room. We could walk to everything and we did. Our room looked out over the lagoon and so did the breakfast area. The windows opened up to the lagoon. We loved eating our breakfast with such a view.

The hotel is marvelous. I stayed there for two nights. I received an email illustrating the way to the hotel and also some instructions. On arrival, Giovanni met us with a warm welcome. If I decide to come again to Venice, sure, I would stay at this hotel.

My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay at La Rosa dei Venti. This was my second stay within a month so that obviously speaks for itself as to how impressed I was overall with this accommodation. Initially I stayed in the suite which more than comfortably accommodated 4 adults and on my return my husband and I stayed in... More

My partner and I stayed in the double superior room at the La Rose dei Venti for three nights. Prior to arrival, I received communication from the B&B giving us instructions for entering the building. And on arrival, Giovanni met us with a warm welcome. The B&B is situated in a wonderful location, a 7-10 minute walk from St Marks... More

Nice people but they have not bothered to inform us when you arrive late you need a code to enter the door! As we arrived 22:00 at airport and taken the slow boat to Arsenal (across the hotel) we arrivedat 00:35 and found nobody opening the door. We had to pay a terrible high price for an emergency over night... More

This small, lovely little B&B, a few minutes walk from San Marco Square, is run by a charming and knowledgeable young man Giovanni, a native of Venice, who gave us wonderful suggestions, welcomed us each morning with a smile, and was one of the most trusting hotel owners I've ever met. The rooms were more than adequate, for a little... More

We booked this place as part of our honeymoon and after spending a lovely night and day in Verona, we were looking forward to Venice. Having stayed there before I had looked for a place with a view of the Lagoon and a sense of intimacy. This place appeared to tick all the boxes and they were even offering a... More

Compared to 99% of Venetian hotels, this is a great place to stay. The position is wonderful - the view onto the lagoon is sublime (think how much you would pay elsewhere) and the neighbourhood is close to the action, but not touristy. + the Arsenale is divine. Big drawbacks come from fact this is not a hotel but converted... More

We've been to Venice a few times before and stayed at the 5* Bauer Palace and the Excelsior on the Lido which cost a fortune. This time we wanted to spend a bit less - so after discounting cheaper hotels and apartments we came across La Rosa dei Venti which overlooks the lagoon and is a 10 minute walk from... More
