The reasons I have given this hotel the best rating are: The staff- What ever the problem they will help. They very kindly confirmed our water taxi for us as we had not heard from the taxi company. They speak excellent english . The ladies who cover the breakfast speak very good english and have a smile and a sense of... More

stumbled upon this hidden gem just off the Riva in Venice. Large (for Venice) room, clean, airy, looking into a courtyard and close by to several more than decent restaurants. Was even able to attend church on a Sunday morning, a church were Vivaldi grw up as a child and was Christened, It is located just a few short blocks... More

Only stayed here for two nights, but it was a lovely hotel and the staff was very friendly. We used the concierge many times for help, and they never once seemed annoyed with all of our very American questions. This included having them call and confirm a couple of our tours in other cities. They did this without any problem... More

The hotel is located pretty close to Piazza San Marco, we found it very comfortable, clean and pretty. Our room was very cozy, comfortable bathroom, great hair dryer (some hotels have useless ones), free wi-fi, not a great view from the window but good enough. The staff was cheerful, friendly, and super helpful, I'm so grateful for the restaurant they... More

Stayed 4 nights in May. The staff really makes this hotel special. We would never consider staying anywhere else for a short stay in Venice. Breakfast was very good and simple: croissants, bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and scrambled eggs and bacon. (We didn't come to Venice to eat a 10 course breakfast). Location is next to the... More

Nice hotel in a very good location. Very helpful and friendly staff always willing to help and advice. The breakfast could be certainly better but still a good deal

It's not often that you find a hotel that has a combination of features that covers your travel needs, but the Best Western Bisanzio did just that on our recent stay in Venice. Starting with the water taxi stop just a few feet from the front door, to the welcoming check-in, to a room with a charming roof-top view, and... More

Our 5th Venice break but first time staying in Castello and, although we have always in the past stayed in a different area of the city, we shall now dispense with this habit and place this hotel at the top of our list for next time. The location is excellent - if you want the hustle and bustle of St... More

Just back from a lovely short break in Venice staying at the hotel Bisanzio. This hotel is really well situated, very close to the vaporetti stations and just a few minutes walk from St. Mark's. As it is off the main thoroughfare, it is quiet and peaceful. The self service breakfast was fine for this vegetarian with delicious croissantes, plenty... More

This was my second stay at the Bisanzio/Best Western. First time I stayed with my husband and two teenage daughters in 2008. We had a quad room, average in size but can honestly find no fault with any thing else! The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location as everyone has said is literally a 2 min walk as you...
