We stayed 5 nights in this hotel and whilst not quite the level of a 4 star hotel in other countries, we have experienced much worst in other Italian Cities, especially in Rome. The staff here are friendly and helpful, the breakfast ample and the rooms are very clean and reasonably sized. We had a room to the back, which... More

On approaching the hotel and hotel entrance and lobby had all the signs of a four star hotel, easy to find and a good location, was greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful, on entering our room we found it to be quite small but adequate although for a four star billing it would be nice to have had... We selected this hotel due to it's proximity to the train station, it's literally few blocks away and believe me that helps when you are hauling those bags on the streets of Venice. The hotel itself is decent, not a 4 star by any means though. Our room faced the busy main street and got bright early morning, the carpets... More

We stayed here recently with an online offer which included flights and accommodation as a package. It was a choice of 3 hotels and we chose this one as it had more Venetian character than the other 2 on offer which looked more contemporary/chain. We found the hotel very easily as it's just across the main bridge from the bus... More

Having been so upset by the standard of hotels and changed rooms in other hotels I was too jaded to speak to reception to get this changed. The lift is miniscule and just about took me, my husband, one large and one small suitcase at a push. The door of our room had to be shoved open as it got... More

We walked in the door, then having to immediately remove our coats as the heat inside was unbearable, there was nobody to carry our bags and the elevator is so small that 2 people struggle to fit inside, I had to sit on my suitcase to fit inside the elevator to get to the 2nd floor. After struggling with the... More

We were "bumped" to this hotel by it's sister property, Hotel Grand Principe - across the street and 50 yards away. We loved it - a little more intimate but with spacious beautiful rooms. We were initially disappointed since the other hotel is on the Grand Canal, but we had paid for lower-priced rooms and really didn't expect to face... More

This is Venice; it is old and cramped, but exquisitely stylish. So is this hotel Conveniently located 10 mins and only 1 bridge from the railway station; grocery stores, banks and coffee shops close by. Rooms small but perfectly adequate and clean; attractively priced No internet AT ALL - but this is Venice, so why would you want to be... More

There was an in-room safe if you laid on the floor to access it. It is near the train station Other than that.... It is an old historic hotel that desperately needs to be refurbished. It is not directly on the canal; perhaps that is a good thing as we only had a few mosquitos in the room. There are... More
