I've been traveling all over Italy for a month, and this was by far the worst place we stayed. The one good thing, is its location. The hotel is OLD, Tired, and has horrible access in case of an emergency, which I know is an odd thing to point out, but from the second we walked in and up a... More

Venice never fails to exceed one's expectations. This is true of all seven of our trips to Venice over the last 8 years; including the last 5 spent at the Wildner. The Hotel Wildner and its restaurant never fail to exceed one's expectations either. The kindness and courtesy of all the staff cannot be exaggerated. They will enhance your visit... More

The first thing that I would say about this hotel is the perfect location. The hotel staff was very helpful...We reached the hotel early and the check in was at 2.00 PM. But we could leave our bags at the reception and due to the location, had a quick tour around , grab a lunch and then check in The... More

This hotel is in a great location and is great value for money. We were happy we chose it, but the hotel itself is average. The beds were typical Europe - small and uncomfortable. There wasn't any room to put your luggage etc. That's fine - we're used to it. There is no elevator and the A/C didn't really work... More

This was our fourth visit to the Wildner, this time with our 7 year-old grandson. We have always paid for Lagoon Views and this time we had a huge room on the top floor, to accommodate three people. Our room was immaculate. The hotel staff were kind and welcoming and were able to give us an additional night in the... More

The magic of the Grand Canal waterway unfolds before you from this ideally situated hotel, best enjoyed from the canal front rooms. Walk into the Danieli nearby, marvel at the architecture, and then go sleep in a room with an identical view for way less cash. Hotel is easy to find, important in this confusing medieval maze, with handy access... More

This hotel is a must avoid, especially if you are given room no 14, just walk away!!! not worth staying in this hotel for the price you give. Unclean/stinky, congested room and unhygienic bathroom and AC doesn't work at all. Unfortunately, the day we checked in it was raining and we had to stay back in the room and room... More

Reviews helped me to select this hotel from the available options when I was booking about 8 weeks in advance of out trip to Venice in March. Options can be affected when you are three adults who want to share a room. The Hotel Wildner worked well for us as there was an alcove with a single bed that was... More

Venice is full of hotels to stay but for first timers it becomes very difficult to choose a. which location to stay & b. which hotel to choose from. So I decided to help my readers by choosing to stay at 2 different locations(the main touristic places) & in 2 different hotels! I had only 2 days in Venice &... More
