Stayed for 3 nights prior to cruise. The hotel is gorgeous. The breakfast garden has to be seen to be believed. Front office staff I rate 10 out of ten. tHis hotel is family owned and is of great quality of service. HIghly recommend.

We stayed at the Flora for three nights in early May. Everything about this hotel is delightful and enjoyable. The fellow at the main desk (Diego?) was first-rate; his warm welcome, humor, and his desire to assist guests and make them feel at home was exemplary and greatly appreciated. The breakfast was really, really good, and enjoying it on the... More

A nice, cosy and charming hotel, great location just off one of the main streets (XXII March) near Piaazza San Marco (5 minutes walk). Warm and inviting interiors (especially the breakfast place). Our room was a bit small and the bathroom door was jammed. Overall a pleasant stay but a bit overpriced.

I stayed with my family in Venice for Carnivale. There were three of us in a room. It was a bit cramped, but from what I understand about Venice, this is the norm. Hotel Flora is centrally located, just a short walk from St. Mark's Square. The place itself is absolutely beautiful and the breakfast is superb as well (very... More

Hotel Flora is well positioned, only a very short walk to the "must see" attractions. It is also close to two vaporetto stpos, to make getting around easy. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms atmospheric and comfortable. The breakfast is sensational, and the dining room / parlour is a lovely place to have a night cap at... More

We stayed here in May for 3 nights. This place has the best location. Close to the San Marco ferry stop, so was easy to carry our luggage to the hotel. Easy to find unlike many other hotels. Close to amazing restaurants and shops and San Marco Square. All the staff were very friendly and happy. The courtyard was beautiful... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in April. Lovely traditional small hotel situated down an alleyway not far from San Marco and very close to the shops. What really makes this hotel are the staff. Very welcoming, friendly and you always felt that nothing was too much trouble. Lovely courtyard at the rear of the hotel where you could have breakfast,... More

Dear Guest, I must tell you that in this review you mention something which makes me, my family and all the staff really proud. When I read that a lot of the larger hotels should take a visit to Hotel Flora to see what a difference exceptional service makes, I was really touched. Thank you for choosing the Flora for... More

I stayed with a friend for 4 nights in mid April 2013. This was my second stay there, having taken my now 18 year old when he was in 3rd grade. The hotel was exactly as wonderful as I remembered. Not a long walk from the #1 Vaporetto stop at San Marco, the hotel is down a short alleyway with a... More

We enthusiastically recommend Hotel Flora as a traditional, welcoming, and comfortable Venetian hotel that takes fine care of its patrons. We stayed at the Flora for five nights in April 2013. It’s a short walk from the Alilaguna San Marco Giardinetti stop (Blue line) coming in from Marco Polo airport and is pretty easy to find. Keep an eye out... More

The more you see of Venice, the more you will appreciate the Flora's dignity, calm, and the namesake garden, where the nice breakfast is served (weather permitting) in a peaceful retreat from the tourist maelstrom. The tucked-away location makes for a quiet night, yet is relatively easy to find and very close to St Mark's Square. Venice overall is about... More
