Very clean, well run hotel. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It is also easy to find and convenient to get to from the Aliluguna. The breakfast was good, but for those that like a big selection, they don't have that. I would stay there again if ever fortunate enough to go to Venice.

As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is ideal: far enough from the major sights to avoid the throngs of noisy tourists, but so convenient for walking or a vaporetto ride. Had a perfect visit to Locanda San Barnaba in early September. The room was clean, comfortable, attractive and spacious with lovely furnishings. Delicious breakfast and very accommodating staff. Great location and near a vaporetto stop. Highly recommend this beautiful, small hotel

a wonderful small hotel just in dorsodouro - just 100 m form a vaporetto stop perfect location for us - San Marco is close enough to walk to as is rialto service excellent we had frescoes on the ceiling a charming hotel and good value for money
