We had a nice room in this lovely quiet hotel. The breakfast was typical and having to use the water bus to get there wasn't a problem. Staying in the main part of Venice would have had other problems, I'm sure. I would stay there again.

Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Vaparetto stop, so very convenient for sightseeing. It has a small bar and there are a couple of good, reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is like a tardis! Modern, clean and comfortable - very friendly English-speaking staff. Attractive breakfast room serving a more than adequate breakfast.

I don't know how they managed to accomplish this, but it appears that they have gutted a very old Venetian building and turned the inside into a modern hotel, with all of the amenities.
