Hotel Villa Rosa – Venice
We arrived at the Villa Rosa around 2am Saturday morning after wondering around Venice with our luggage for the better part of an hour as the building numbers do not make sense and the locals did not know where our hotel was. We ended up at the train station and spoke to a nice front...

2night stay.
Limited options in venice. Venice generally 20% more expensive than elsewhere.
Good location to train station. Fair walk to everywhere else, Rialto bridge and opposite end from San Marco plaza. But it's normal to walk most everywhere in Venice.
Entry is down alleyway from a main street so pick a landmark on the main street to identify the...

We wanted to stay in Venice for one night before taking a cruise down the croatian coast.
It was difficult to find a hotel to put 5 people up for one night. If anyone knows Venice
it was tricky to locate (as we came in the wrong way). But from the Train Station it is about 3 minutes
walk.
It is...

The hotel's location is nice, near the train station, cafes and canal. Although you have to walk a few minutes into a teeny tiny street from the main touristy area, (and might accidentally step on dog poop), the street maze is usual in Venice. It was the most expensive accommodation we had in Europe and was the smallest. The bathroom...

Rooms were very clean and place was so close to main train station. it was hardly 5 min walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful and was able to speak good english. Internet is not free but they give you 30 min complimentary. wifi is only in reception and ground floor.

On our last trip to Italy we...

Finding reasonably a reasonably priced hotel in Venice is difficult, almost as difficult as finding this hotel. It's ideally located, just a few minutes walk from the train station...that if you can find it. It's located on a "street" which is so narrow, that I could almost touch both sides with my arms stretched. However, once I finally found it,...

This little hideaway is down a very narrow alley about 2 blocks from the train station. It is right off the main street next to the Grand Canal. It is difficult to find and there is no clear sign pointing the name of the alley or the hotel. Thank God for Google Earth. It is a cute little hotel built...

This is the second time i've stayed here. Its a little tired, but very clean and very well located just a few minutes walk from the Railway station. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars all around..... the Staff were very good and spoke perfect english. The rooms were large, basic and comfortable, but don't expect luxury. But it...
