CA’SATRIANO is hidden away towards the end of the Grand Canal in Venice. It's a very peaceful cozy little B&B with themed rooms. We stayed in the Mermaid room, for whichg we paid 140 euros a night (it was just for two nights so not too bad) The room has a en suite with a jaccusi bath nd view of... More

We stayed in the mask room. The hotel actually only has three rooms and this was the smallest, but the window was just facing a small canal, and we saw the gondolas passing by every morning. The room was nicely furnished. We payed around 80 euros a night for two persons, which I suppose is good enough for Venice. The... More

We were there from April 6th to April 9th. We stayed at the Conservatoire room. It was a big, perfectly clean room with all conforts. The price included breakfast which was basic and rather small , nice though. The area was perfect. It is not really a hotel, more a bed and breakfast place. But the prices are reasonable and... More

After a life long desire to visit Venice, my boyfriend booked a trip in February 09 during the venice carnival. I found Ca' Satriano online and called and spoke to Alberto to find out if there would be any availability during the carnival. As there are only 3 rooms I was delighted to find one available for the dates required... More

We found Ca' Satriano via the Cross-Pollinate site and were very pleased! The location is perfect - close to the Accademia Bridge and it's vaporetto stop, and easy walk to San Marco. The Santo Stefano square, with its nice restaurants and shops, is a quick stroll away. Venture in a bit, and you'll be with real Venetians and fewer tourists!... More

It was the first time I was going to Venice and was kinda excited because everybody had told me how wonderful could be this town. I receive the name of this B&B by a friend of mine already been there and I decided to book a room at Ca'Satriano. This have been the best choice, the right way to live... More

In May, 2007, I was on a conference in Venice. Venice was never my choice, if it wasn't for a business trip. So I was almost forced to go there and it turned out to be my worst nightmare! First of all, my dear fellow travelers, NEVER EVER stay at Casatriano Bed & Breakfast in Venice. I would like to... More

On a crowded weekend in Venice, the Ca Satriano was the perfect sanctuary. I emailed the owners the week before and received a quick reply. Upon arrival the host, Christian, was waiting in the courtyard to meet us. This was critical because of the tricky maze of alleys and courtyards in Venice. We went right to our room, the Mermaid... We stayed 2 nights at the Ca Satriano (group of 4) in the Mermaids and Masks rooms. I also looked at the Conservatoire room which was virtually identical to the Mermaids room. The Mermaids and Conservatoire rooms are quite large with wonderful bathrooms. The Masks room is nice, but substantially smaller with only a shower instead of a shower and... More

We stayed in the Conservatory room for two nights. It was the largest room and bathroom, with the most comfortable bed, in our 21 day stay in Italy. This being said we did experience some communication problems with Christian the host. This place could be great if there was a staff person available for at least an 8hr period per... More
