nice hotel, fairly clinical and not over friendly, more for business use. If you are planning on walking into Verona from the hotel you may want to re-consider. Ok for a gent to walk but If ladies are wearing heels etc it may be a bit too far, good breakfast though.

Recently stayed at this hotel with four others. We all were very impressed I have to say. The hotel was spotless. Rooms were cleaned every morning with fresh towels. Tea/coffee making facilities were provided too which was great. Beds were firm but comfy. We even noticed how shiny the fixtures and fittings were. The staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

Good: Room was comfortable BAD: +30 mins to city (not 15), No sky (as advertised in hotel), no free internet (it's 2012), nothing nearby for food, no air-con (as advertised). Wouldn't recommend it.

I have to take issue with the earlier reviews regarding transportation. While the hotel is not in Verona proper, access from the train station and into the city is very easy. Buses run, at a maximum interval of 20 minutes from just outside the hotel into the city. They're fast and clean and accessible. No need to walk into town... More

PROS: It was a lovely hotel with a good breakfast. They also provided a shuttle to and from downtown Verona which was great since we went and saw Romeo and Juliet. We stayed in Hotel San Pietro for one night in July 2011. We had bought tickets for Aida in the Arena Theatre for the night. The hotel is very nice, clean and it looks quite new. It has a free parking. very good quality-price ratio. The bad thing, it is around 1-2 km from the center and there are no restaurants or shops in the surroundings. To go to the center, the best option is by car, although I think the hotel has free bycicles.... More

This hotel is very much in the wrong side of the tracks. To get from here to the center old Verona on foot you have to walk past empty industrial zones, under highway overpasses and under a railway bridge. This takes about 30 minutes but wold be very unpleasant after dark. The rooms are modern and clean WiFi is not... More
