Stayed at the Castello in Vicenza for one night during a vacation. Would never stay there again! It needs major renovation and cleaning (wallpaper coming down, mildew, fungi, smell, dirty carpets...). The horror! The breakfeast was rediculous as well - we got half-frozen rolls, after waiting for 10 minutes.

Located a short walk from the train station and inside the walls of the historic center, this hotel is ideal for seeing the sights of Vicenza. Small and simple with low prices, the staff goes the extra mile to please. A great value if you don't need super fancy but want to be in the center of the town.
