I stayed 6 nights, alone in this B&B and I made a good choice. The location is not in the middle of Alghero's centre, but not very far either. Because it is not in the city centre, you can have a quite night with windows open which is important for me (There are riding a lot of mopeds in Alghero's... More

A very nice B&B. Roberto is very helpful and speaks good English too. The place is very clean and the guests can use a fridge and make coffee and tea. It’s not far from the centre of the lovely city of Alghero, in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a good supermarket around the corner.

After spending three weeks traveling in Europe, we were really looking forward to finishing our trip in Algheiro. We were not disappointed with the city, but were disappointed with the B & B. The location was not close to town, although within walking distance. The walk was not picturesque as the description stated. Although there was a balcony, if you... More

The Blue Dolphin is a Bed and Breakfast, not a hotel 5 stars I am really been sorry that these guests have written this critique that doesn't correspond entirely to the truth. The air conditioning /haeter is perfectly workins. The balcony is not a panoramic terrace and I has never described him as such. Among the other things, the balcony... More

To tell the truth, we were a little disappointed with this B&B, but for the price which is quite low for Sardinia it was a good place to stay. But don't expect too much of it. I was really surprised, that it got so many 5*. I never would say, it's a five star location. And I am not the... More

From April 2008 in the B&B Blue Dolphin we have all the rooms with private bathroom inside (ensuite). The breakfast is packed because the italian low for the b&b (snacks, sugar, biscuits, toasted bred, milk, marmalade, honey, all of this are single packed). Roberto (owner) More

I've been in Alghero last weekend and I stayed two nights in B&B Blue Dolphin. The owner is very helpful and neighbourly, the room is really tiny and very spacious. Roberto, the owner gave us a warm welcome and some useful information! Inside the house there is a small kitchen where you can prepare and have breakfast. I think this... More

This B&B can surely not deserve to be rated as top in Alghero. We thoroghly enjoyed our week long stay on the island but little did it have to do with our accomodation. The B&B is a 20 minute walk from the 'old town' on the very edge of Alghero overlooking a school and a building site. The breakfast consisted... More

Quite a nice B&B, located on the far edge of town. Clean, comfortable, simple accomodation. Shared bathroom. Very basic breakfast. Quite a way from the centre of Alghero, about 20 min walk, but its located in a fairly quiet residential street. There is a supermarket on the next road. We hired a car & there is on-street parking outside or... More

I am just writing to confirm what the other reviews say about Blue Dolphin. If you read them all you will get a balanced view of the b+b and in particular the effort that Roberto puts into it . He is obviously proud of his town and is keen to help his guests make the most of their stay. Although Sardinia... More

Situated up a back street on the edge of Alghero with no view worth talking about, 'The Blue Dolphin' seems an unlikely place to find a little bit of heaven. But there it is; a beautifully presented large room with adjacent shared bathroom and kitchen might not qualify in most people's opinion as much to write home about but when... More

6 of us went to Alghero just for one night, because it was a super-cheap flight and we fancied a Christmas night out with a difference! We arrived late in the evening, to find out that our original B+B (owned by Roberto's sister) had been double booked. Initially disappointed, tired and wary of where we might be going, the lovely...
