Good rooms, friendly staff and a practical location make this a very good, affordable stay in Alghero
I have been here almost 2 years ago and I hope not a lot of things has changed.Nice peaceful place, friendly and accommodating owners, cosy and clean and colorful rooms and adequate breakfast (you can serve it also outside - ah, enjoy the sun in the morning!!). I simply love this hotel and hope to come back again. I was...

This is our second trip to this hotel and were very happy to say that it is still lovely , clean and friendly. It is a great location for the beach and for the lovely stroll along the promenade into the old town. Bus to the airport only 2 euros. It is such good value and the staff are really...

Small but very friendly hotel close to the beach and not far from historic centre (500 m) and its night life, restaurants and cafes. Transport from the airport very easy - 1€ fare bus stops 50m away. Once in the hotel - clean, spacious rooms, tasty breakfast with cappuccino, Everybody was icredibly friendly, helpful and obliging. We recommend it 100%.
Simpel tourist hotel. The rooms are ok, but the beds very hard. Italian breakfast with several type of breads and coffee. No living room to stay in for the family. No place to sit outdoor in the sun. A very short distance to the beach promenade and bike and car hire. Not much to do in Alghero in March. All...

Not very luxurious, but exactly what you need. Very clean, comfortable beds, private bathroom.
The location is very quiet and within comfortable walking distance to the town centre. Just one block away from the public beach, and one block away from the airport bus.
Very friendly staff who provided us with the very best information about good restaurants and pizzerias....

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is 3-star, it is new and well maintained. It's about 600 metres to Alghero's old town and it makes for a nice walk. We found our room to be well-equipped, with a large bathroom, good shower, shampoos, hair-dryer, window, and new towels each day. Breakfast consisted of cereal, croissants, and fantastic italian coffee....

Hotel Alguer, a gem in Alghero:
At first glance Hotel Alguer might strike you as an average little family run hotel located in a little side street. Well it is, but as soon as I entered it and was given a genuinely warm welcome by the staff I knew I had made the perfect choice and had found my little...

We stayed here for 1 night prior to returning to UK. We had mixed feelings about this hotel. The room somehow was not welcoming and we would not have enjoyed a long stay.
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful - free wifi - free parking - very clean - good value - shops and beach close by - easy walk...

We spent 7 nights at this hotel recently. We have stayed in 3*, 4* and 5* hotels in the past, but this hotel has something, none of the others had - a genuinely helpful, friendly host. From the moment we arrived there, in the early afternoon, we were greeted with a smile, shown to our room (not just handed the...
