Nice big rooms with working air condition, hot water etc. Check-in is on the 3rd floor which was different and the place is a maze of staircases, but it's a wonderful starting point just off the main restaurant/ commercial strip. Would definitely return.

Stayed five nights in this hotel. Location is super in the centrum and busstops near. Because it's in a sideway, no noise problems. Room was ok, design a bit above average. Personnel was correct but some of them seem to be indifferent. Breakfast is like everywhere in Italy: a little bread (cornetto/croissant), yoghurt and coffee/tea

Stayed one night after a late arrival in Catania. Room basic but clean and comfortable. Surprisingly quiet for city centre hotel. Very convenient for airport bus - there is a bus stop less than 5 minutes walk away (ask bus driver for Hotel Gresi)

Ended up here after Hotel Etnea 316 refused our confirmed reservation. This was a family-run hotel with friendly service. Rooms were a bit dated but clean and comfortable with fully adequate facilities. It is well-located and relatively quiet.
