The building hosting this hotel is really beautiful and charming, location is perfect being close to Piazza Politeama (very nice central suburb in Palermo) and staff is nice. However it's also located close to a place with very loud music till about 2am, maybe weekends is not the right time for your stay! Breakfast could be better.

We went as a group of 4 couples. Generally we were treated very well with a couple of exceptions. We like to have a nightcap in our room. On one night, the night staff kicked up a fuss about delivering ice to our room and wanted to add a service charge!! He finally brought some, was very rude and deliberately... More

If Richard Wagner had owned a hotel, this would have been a good choice. It is all strum und drang. Staying here, in the center of chaotic Palermo Can creates conflicting emotions. The hotel has been nicely overdone in gilt romantic touches. The location is good. But everything else makes you crazy. They have a fitness room WHICH IS NEVER... More

Other reviews mentioned the overly gilt decor, which I found charming. It is over the top with frills, and the rooms are dark and small, but comfy enough. Front desk staff is unhelpful but okay. No robes, cheap toiletries and cramped bathrooms make this place feel like a 2 or 3 star at best. Having said that it is okay... More

Terrific location in central Palermo. Near great shopping, cool wine bars, good restaurants, and both main theaters. Lovely public and private rooms. But there are two negatives: (1) To get wi-fi, you have to go down to the lounge and pay for it in 1-hour intervals. Seems to me a 5-star hotel should provide it free in your room. (2)... More

Excellent service. The staff took extra measures to make sure we were comfortable. However, it was surprising that a 5 star hotel did not have free wifi (charged 6.50 euros a day). The hairdryer and toileteries were definitely not 5 star. Watery shampoo+body wash and motel-like hair dryer. Breakfast could've definitely been a little better. The variety reminded me of... More

Nice hotel in the city centre near theatres, coffee bars and restaurant. Excellent position: it’s easy to visit the town on foot, in about 1.5 kilom. you can find everything. rooms nice and comfortable, cabled internet, gold and mirrors everywhere. Front desk helpful and friendly: they give you any suggestions for restaurants and cultural visits. breakfast good and rich

This was a very convenient location near the theater and opera house, with many restaurants, cafes, etc. in close proximity. The street it fronts is busy but not terribly loud. Nice Palermo street views from balcony. The room, however, was quite small; we could barely open our luggage and walk around, and although bathroom was okay size, shower was tight.... More

It's not worth the money or I could say just because the rooms are decorated with a lot of gold paint.. Does not make it a 5 star hotel. Service fair, breakfast as good as most 3 star hotels!

My first visit to Palermo I stayed with my wife at this lovely Hotel in the centre of Palermo. We found this to be a great location, very central and close to attractions and transport. Very good staff quite efficient and friendly. Good breakfast but don't drink the premade dishwater coffee, order a fresh coffee and the breakfast staff happily... More
