This hotel is run by the Ursuline Sisters and one feels the calm atmosphere as soon as you enter. The location is perfect, across from the seawall and within easy walking to all the Old Town sights including the open-air market. A very nice breakfast was included but I don't believe there is a regular restaurant during the winter months.

We stayed here with a Rick Steves tour this winter and have nothing but praise for the experience. Breakfast was fine and the bed was perfect. Siracusa is a great walking town and the hotel's location allows you the best access.

Quite a surprise here. This is a very high quality hotel. The WIFI connection is awful though. Really really weak. No WIFI in the rooms, only in the lobby near the front desk. The building is unexceptional but its situation isn't, being on the eastern edge of the island of Ortygia, which is the oldest bit of Siracuse.
