We stayed for two nights at the Musciara resort. The hotel is nice but the rooms are incredibly noisy with the sounds of water pipes all night. Any time someone speaks in the corridor, you feel they are in your room ! The private beach is nice but since the hotel is slightly far off Ortigia, it takes 15 minutes... More

I committed to writing a review of this gem we in Sicusa from our original visit but clearly time got away from me. The memory of Musciara however never left me and so though time has passed, we so enjoyed our stay that I wanted to share with future travelers our experience. We secured our reservations shortly after they opened... More

The photos on the website convinved us to go to Musciara.. and they did not lie. This little sophisticated hotel is right on the harbour's edge with its own small private beach and great views out to Ortigia island although the entrances to the hotel itself are located in the less glamorous harbour area of Siracusa. The service from the staff... More

.....but maybe a bit expensive. "Resort" conjures up spas, pools and golf, gyms etc. This is more like a boutique hotel with a private beach. Very comfortable, stylishly done and artfully squeezed into a fairly unremarkable corner of the town, about 15 minutes walk from the lovely Piazza in Oritigia. And amazing breakfast - we had a tortilla with fiori... More

Only good things to say about this lovely small hotel perched on a tranquil sandy beach within easy walking distance of everything worth visiting in Syracuse. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, cool, quiet, relaxing..... The breakfast buffet was over-the top terrific, as were lunches and dinners at the restaurant-- with the added pleasure of eating on the terrace directly... More

We stayed there for a week with our two teenager boys and had a great time there. The private beach with a view to Ortigia was sensationel and the family who runs the Hotel is warmhearted and makes your stay really special. We will defenately come back! The rooms are beautiful and clean. Maybe the bathroom is a little bit... More

Extremely friendly and comfortable family run hotel. The location is unbeatable - can you beat breakfast at the waters edge under a deep blue sky. The private beach is immaculately groomed and the complementary beach beds are very comfortable and nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff. We had lunch there a couple of times - the menu is... More

My husband and I went to this hotel for our honeymoon. It is a boutique hotel and also has a couple of apartments which can be rented. We rented one of the apartments for a week at the start of the season in May. The apartment was lovely, it had everything you need for a comfortable stay, a large bedroom,... More

We were 2 families with teenagers staying at this hotel, where nothing seemed too much trouble-a late lunch when we arrived tired, restaurant recommendations and bookings, boat trips and even help digging a sea urchin spine out of a foot! The hotel itself is beautifully appointed-very elegant, with a charming private beach. Dining is truly next to the sea. The... More

I've fallen madly in love with Ortigia and a big part of the reason I keep coming back to this stunning part of Sicily are the long, dreamy days spent totally unwinding on the private beach of the unique, Musciara Siracusa Resort. This chic hotel with elegant, comfortable rooms, suites and apartments sits directly on its own private, protected harbour... More
