We were desperate for a room as we had not booked one. When we arrived they gave us a good deal so i cant complain on the price. The room was large and well equipped. The hotel itself is in bad need of a facelift but to be honest we only slept in the hotel and ate in Ortiga.

The hotel has a terribly bad location, it takes a quarter of an hour to get the center, but we had to wait for almost an hour for the public bus (which is just in front from reception) which took us tu Ortigya (the storic center of Syracusa). Don't be fooled, at best this is a 3 star hotel. It is generally clean and functional but could use a face lift as it's starting to show its age. I stayed in this hotel september 2003 and feel as no one else has written a review i must. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful.
