B&B Itaca is located on the central square of Ortigia - Piazza Archimede. Our room overlooked medieval buildings and an early 20C statue and fountain - delightful! Good location in old section of Syracuse. Clean, large double room, good features. Near restaurants. Staff not available during most of day. Minimal/no English by staff. Breakfast at adjacent cafe was minimal i.e. one pastry and coffee.

Had a great stay, Guiseppe was so helpful, booked taxis for us and helped with any and enquiries. Rooms were clean, loads of wardrobe space and drawer space, spacious shower and bathroom, endless hot water,beds comfortable, lots of pillows, extra blankets not that we needed it in 35 degrees but the air conditioning was a very welcome extra not expected... Located in the heart of ortigia, close to atractions. Giuseppe help to parking, restaurants and must-see was apreciated. Ask for the rooms witn a view to the piazza. He recomended us to the best restaurant experience in our trip to amalfi coast and sicily: CIRCOLO DELLA APOLLONIUM: Excelent price , endless good food.

I accidentally made our reservations for the wrong night! We showed up and noone was waiting on us. Luckily, the owner happened to be sitting at the cafe next door and he asked if we had reservations. We said yes and he looked confused. He took us reception and informed us our reservation did not start until the following night!... More

We ended a nine day stay in Sicily with two days at B&B Itaca and we loved it. The location is great. Our room was spacious and immaculate clean. The host, Giusseppe, is delightful – exceptionally helpful, warm and a great source of advice on everything local. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
