Always stayed at the Vello D'Oro when visiting Taormina. The views are simply amazing and the location very central. Nice breakfast buffet with croissants to die for. Rooms are spacious and clean.The decor is very interesting and artistic with sculptors and paintings all around the hotel. Will definitely keep going back there.

Simple but clean rooms. The location is perfect: near the main street Corso Umberto, and with a big roof terrace with great views over Mount Etna, the Ionian Sea and the old Teatro Greco. Overall, staff was friendly and willing to help. However, communicating in English was somewhat difficult.

Centrally located in the middle of town, with a superb view over the sea, mount Etna and the Greek theater, but very noisy in the evenings due to live music from various surrounding bars (once until after 3:00 in the morning).
