Good value for money because the location is great, you can see the duomo from the bedroom window (room3). The room was clean and spacious. Bathroom was also clean, the only downside was the shower curtain sticking to you all the time when showering! We were also allowed to leave our luggage there after check out. The breakfast is pitiful,... More

A lovely room with a wonderful view of the Duomo. There is even a small balcony perfectly situated for people watching. Walking distance to everything. Only drawback is the street noise level at night. With so many people taking in Florence there is bound to be some voices and even singing throughout the evening!

B&B is central and our room (triple) had a nice view on the Duomo...however the room was very small for 3 persons, and facilities pretty basic. No AC, antique windows so you can enjoy until late during the night the noise from the bars/restaurants closeby, and early in the morning from the delivery services to the shops, out of date... More

We stayed in room 6. The best room overlooking the duomo. Great view. No real complaints with the place itself - I mean it does it's job but is very average at it. The shower doors fell off in our hands. There was no air con so we got a poor nights sleep as it was 25c overnight. The advertised... More

Stayed here for three nights this spring with my girlfriend. The place is actually a large apartment with a few rooms that are decently decorated and have en suite. There are plenty of places nearby where you can get dinner and all of the attractions in Florence are within walking distance.

Ok we understand this place is 'budget' and we are both in our twenties and no stranger to doing it rough BUT... this place is the only place we have left a bad review for on our entire 7 week trip through Europe. Rooms are small and pokey with no air con and very little room (Florence is very very... More

This place is a case of you get what you pay for. You can see why it is cheap. Firstly, this is not a proper b&b. The breakfast is pitiful - its just some packaged dodgy looking croissants and cakes, and it is left in your room after cleaning each morning. There was a note in the rooms 'apologising' for... More

the b&b di piazza del duomo is quite nice and recently restored. Respect of many others place in the center of town in the same range of prices it is nice because the bathrooms are new and so the floors etc. The owner and the cleaning lady are very gentle. The flaws are a) noises coming from the streets (I... More

I must begin by expressing how very helpful and gracious Sabrina is. She promptly answered my many emails and made our museum reservations without hesitation. She was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. I booked with her directly to ensure that we would be staying in the room with the view of the... More

I have stayed in many places in Florence over the last 10 years. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Bed and Breakfast di Piazza del Duomo has been the best value for money so far. The next time I am in Florence I will stay there. The location is great! You could not get any closer to the Duomo.... More
