Palazzo Lombardo is a family-run place with 6 rooms and friendly staff located a quick walk from the Campo di Marte station (Eurostar from Rome comes to this station) and a short bus ride to the city centre with bus 17. Had a great time at Palazzo Lombardo - it is very nice! The shutters in the rooms have electric controls like a car window! There were a good selection of yoghurts at breakfast, including an 'orange and lemon' yoghurt! The walk into town is great, I recommend going down Borgo Pinti. You can get a bus up to Fiesole from...

I have just came back from beautiful Florence. Palazzo Lombardo is excellent, clean, very friendly housekeeping-wonderful experience. Good location, close to the historical city centre(20 mins walk). Definitely recommended, Joanna, UK
