An excellent low budget hotel in the centre of the city. It was no more than a 10 minute walk to anywhere in the centre. The hotel people were very friendly and extremely obliging. The room and the bathroom, although not very big, were very clean -and the TV worked! 10% reduction was offered for payment in cash. Jerry Davenport

My husband and I loved our stay at Hotel Casci. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The breakfast is excellent, much more variety than the breakfasts at other hotels during our trip to Italy. The location is perfect, close to the Duomo and museums. The room was clean with adequate space and free WiFi. We would definitely stay... More

We were a party of four adults and booked 2 rooms May 12 - 15th, 2012. As other reviewers have said, this is a very basic, perfectly located hotel. We had rooms 18 and 25 and 25 was very much better than 18. I would advise everyone to look at the room before agreeing to the room. The family was... More

We thank these ladies for their review and we are happy to learn that overall they have enjoyed their stay with us. At the same time we are sorry to learn that they did not like one of the rooms they were accomodated in. As our hotel is located in an ancient building (originally built 500 / 600 years ago),... Great hotel, location, service, hosts, and value. If you're going to Florence consider staying here. It's family run and that's how they made us feel as we stayed for three nights. They also made museum reservations for us and had great restaurant recommendations.

Our family group of 7 stayed here for 4 nights in May. The host-owners could not have been more helpful or friendlier. The location is perfect--an easy walk to the train station and the "main attractions" in Florence. The rooms are clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was a pleasure with healthy options--fruit, yogurt, granola--as well as pastries, cheese,... More

We spent nine nights in Florence in this hotel and would not be pleased more. Lombardis treat you like family. Wonderful breakfast, friendly service, clean and beautiful rooms.(reasonably priced) What else can be expected as a traveler. They even reserved tickets for us for two main museums which is highly recommended if you don't want to wait on line for... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in 2000 and I didn't think twice when I needed to book a hotel in Florence for my Italy trip with my niece and nephew. We stayed from May 8-11, 2012 and were not disappointed. Their customer service is Number One! The Lombardi Family are so personable and make you feel so... More

The family that runs this conveniently located hotel go out of their way to be accommodating and friendly to their guests, with well-appointed lounge areas, reading material, restaurant and tour recommendations. They provide delicious Italian pastries and great fruit choices for breakfast, but have clearly done their homework and also provide foods that guests likely have access to in their... More

We traveled as a group of women from across the US mostly flying out of Seattle. The hotel was arranged by our travel agent but one of the women had stayed there previously. The hotel is fairly simple but offers complete services. Our room #3 was on Via Cavour so we closed off our windows at night and turned on... More

My husband and I just returned from a trip to italy and spent 4 nights at the Hotel Casci. It is very good value for the money - very basic in terms of accomodations but super clean and the Lombardi family is very welcoming. The location is within walking distance of all the main attractions. Breakfast is served daily and... More
