The location of this hotel is brilliant; it is only a 2 minute walk from the Duomo and Baptistery and less than 10 minutes to most sites of any significance such as the Uffizi and the Accademia. Friendly help, clean, comfortable, basic rooms. For us the location was great, too. We could walk every where to see all the sites, just down the street from the Duomo. And upon leaving, we walked to the train station (with roller bags).

If you want a quiet, safe and clean hotel then go to the hotel Gioia. It is friendly, it is in a good position and it provides a basic but good enough breakfast. If you are looking for luxury then this is not for you. Enjoy your stay
