This was our first trip to Italy and we were very pleased with the Albergotto. The location was great, the service from the front desk to breakfast staff was great. Always helpful and very pleasant. The breakfast was better than I expected. This is not a typical American hotel, if you plan on spending a lot of time in your... More

We were disappointed with this hotel - I would say 3* but definitely not what we expect from 4*. Location was good and the management seem to rely on that! Room was OK but bathroom STANK (we were told it was the drains), twice when we left the 'do not disturb' sign up, someone came into our room, breakfast was... More

There are 30 steps from the ground floor to the elevator. Them, the elevator always stop at the first floor, even if you are at the second or third floor. Also, the elevator is way too small for two people with bags. So, you have to make more than one trip. If you survive the elevator, then you get to... More

Booked through Lastminute as a secret hotel and got a real bargain. Very good rooms, good front desk service and good breakfast - very good coffee. Room was a good size, very quiet and well furnished with a really nice bed. Spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel. Front desk were polite, helpful and informative, a great advert for the... More

Albergotto has an old world feel to it and you particularly notice this if you are in the lounge having a cocktail or having breakfast. Our superior room was a good size and the bathroom was huge. Our friends' room was even larger due to the room configuration. The bed was very comfortable & they had the best pillows we... More

An excellent stay! We stayed in Florence for a week during our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for better accommodation. As others have mentioned, the hotel was central to everything - train station, Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, etc, etc. We too were upgraded from a Deluxe room to the Super Deluxe which was spacious, clean, quiet, and comfortable. We were apart... More

I went to Florence to spend a week with my daughter who is studying abroad. I picked the hotel because of the closeness to her apartment. When I arrived they had upgraded me to a deluxe room #23. The room was very large with two windows overlooking the street. The hotel is very clean and the staff extremely nice and... More

I am afraid I have to agree with the previous review. This Hotel is perfectly located in Via Tornabuoni close to all the main attractions and shopping. The staff is friendly and professional. I booked a single room and when I arrived i was informed that I had been upgraded to a double. Lucky me ! I really do not... More

This hotel is located in an excellent location (its the equivalent of old Bond Street in London) with all the upmarket clothes and shoe shops. The hotel receptionist (who never seemed to take a break in the 2 nights we stayed) was very good recommending places to eat and helping with train times ect (its the only thing which upgraded...
