- Grand Hotel Florence

Crammed with people, plastic cups for nearly everything. Staff run off their feet. Didn't enjoy at all.
A comfortable and well presented hotel in the mid-range price level. For what is provided (location, room amenities and ample breakfast), its good value for money.
A clean room, with facilities all working is always a good thing. The air con was way too warm and we couldn't adjust it, so had to crank the window to open to let...

Travelling with Trafalgar Tours, we did not have choices for Hotels. This Hotel is very conveniently located close to all attractions. You can easily walk the path or sidewalk by the river to the town square. Very quiet area for you to stay.
Hotel itself is quite large. There are different wings for which to stay at. Because of being...

Very impressed with the services offered by this hotel and the professionalism of the staff. I would gladly return in my next vacations.
We stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour, so I can't attest to the value for money spent.
The hotel is conveniently located within reasonable walking distance of the main city squares, while still being far enough away to be quiet.
The room was on the smaller side with comfortable beds and a nice sized tub. Unfortunately...

This hotel is close to Florence downtown (less than 1 km), and it is in front of Arno river. The staff is very kind. The restaurant is very good and serve a varied buffet at lunch and dinner time. The breakfast is good, but does not offer fresh fruits. The internet service is paid.
The staff and the rooms are nice, the location is good for walking to downtown, but the hotel is sure not easy to learn how to get around inside. It has the river across the street with nice walks along the park.
Have stayed here a couple of times on a tour, and for groups it was quite central and good, clean rooms and above average breakfasts for most tour hotels. Close to all attractions, museums and quite scenic on the river.
we stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in early April as part of a tour. The location is great, a nice walk along the river. We had a leak in the bathroom somewhere that left a large puddle by the toilet, and the fridge stank to high heaven!! The desk staff was not very friendly, and all but 1...

Five star at 2 star prices!
