Hotel Albion is a very cozy and welcoming hotel. Sara and her family made our visit relaxing and made us feel right at home. Sara gave us a map when we arrived and told us how to find all of the major attractions and also gave us great recommendations for restaurants. I traveled with my sister and friend and we... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Albion in April and had a wonderful experience. We had stayed at the family's wonderful La Boscarecce in Tuscany fifteen years ago when it first opened and loved it. I had done cooking there, got to know our hostess well, and had an unbelievable experience. When I knew we were coming... More

My wife and I visited the Hotel Albion after spending a day in Florence two years back when staying at the family's other hotel in Tuscany (La Boscarecce). Having met Sarah before at La Boscarecce we knew that if the hotel was of a similar standard we would not be disapointed and we weren't. The hotel is in an excellent... More

Easily walkable distance to train and bus stations and approximately 10 minute walk to Duomo. Staff most welcoming and friendly, very helpful with directions, dining suggestions, transportation questions, and any needs in our room. Sarah especially hospitable, felt like a family member at the end of our four night stay. We stayed in a two room apartment with a shared... More

My family and I spent a night at the Albion and we were positively impressed. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast was good. The staff at the reception was extremely helpful and corteous. I particularly appreciated the fact that there was WI FI in the hotel and that I could also use their computer in the lobby. My only... More

You could travel the world over and rarely come across such a charming group of folks. These people REALLY know how to make you feel at home, and will go to extraordinary lengths to make your stay as pleasant as they possibly can. Over the years, I have sent many individuals as well as groups to the Albion, and have... More

This is a quirky budget hotel close to the station, the river and all the attractions. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is better than some you find in some fancier hotels. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a huge room to myself right in the heart of Florence in this charming hotel. Clean and tidy with paintings everywhere. the breakfast was really good as well, considering that the Albion is quite affordable. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it. Just don't ask the staff for a restaurant recommendation, they just send you... More

We came here for a night in Florence after our stay at their tuscan retreat La Boscarecce. Individually decorated rooms in an old Florentine Building centrally located and walking distance to the railway station. They have a large number of reference books available in the reception and bar to help your stay in Florence. Good buffet breakfast and clean well... More
