The room was nice and spacious but many of the basics are missing at this hotel. Aside from the nice decor and space, the bathroom was even smaller than the average European water closet. Additionally, the television had no cable, only Italian channels. The promised free wi-fi never materialized. And the noise from the street below began to filter in... More

Pros: *Location- in a more residential area so it has great low-cost options for meals. It is also very quiet at night. *Price- one of the mid range options I could find during busy time of late spring. *Free Breakfast- It was a decent selection of pastries, cereal, juice, and fantastic made to order espresso drinks. *Front desk staff- Spoke... We arrived late and there was nobody at the reception( it closes around 9pm).so, it was a little bit hard to get into the hotel and it took us around 30min to find our room. Besides, the rooms are clean and spacious. You are like 15 min walk from major sites in florence such as the central market and the... More

Booked the hotel through Groupon, and was very excited about our trip to Florence. There were minor complications through email at the beginning, however I decided to overlook this and focus on visiting the city... Before I get to the 'good' part though... we had to leave the hotel at 6 am to catch our train, but there was NO... More

Hello Danielle, First of all thank you for taking some time to write this review. I read carefully the email you exchanged with my colleagues and the point is: If you have to complain about the hotel's staff or room dirtiness or for other things why you didn't say nothing to us while you were here??? This is not fair... More

My father and I stayed for three nights. The hotel was a converted... well, I'm not sure. The room had decent square footage, but the ceiling was immensely high, maybe 12-14 feet. Whatever it was before, the room didn't have a bathroom then, so the bathroom for our room and the one next to it were carved out of the... More

We stayed 5 nights on April at this homely hotel. The room was too clean with a comfortable bed. Wifi worked in the room without any problems at all (and was free). The staff was polite, professional and extremely helpful placing calls, making restaurant reservations and providing excellent walking and driving directions. The buffet breakfast had a great variety of... More

This is a great place to stay. The location is ideal, the service is exceptional and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room was quiet even tho we were on the street. Service was amazing. Friendly staff. The breakfast was wonderful with cheese, fruits, toast, cereals, etc.and the cappuccinos were great. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is reasonable but ruined by awful service and management. The hotel was originally offered on a deal through groupon but, once booked, the hotel refused to accept any bookings during the period of the deal (despite there being availability via their website) and forced us to book at a different time when there was a EUR40 surcharge per night.... This was our favorite of the three hotels we stayed at in Italy. The hotel was very small, quaint, authentic and antique feeling. Our view out beautiful wooden shutters was of an alley courtyard, but it was that kind of authenticity that we loved. Our favorite part was the location-- sandwiched between staying in very remote hotels in both Rome... More
