We stayed at the Hotel Palazzo Vecchio one night and then a week later for one night. It's comfortable, clean and quiet. The rooms a small but adequate. It also offers breakfast, which consisted of coffees, juice, cereal, yoghourt, etc. (no fresh fruit). The staff is friendly and helpful. They have wi-fi. I want to mention that I had accidentally... This hotel is located very near the train station was was wonderful. Lots of local restaurants to choose from as well. Our only complaint was the very small room. Even by European standards this was a very small room with no where to store luggage.

We had a problem with the bathroom because the drain decided to work the other way. All of a sudden, stinky water began spewing. It was a sunday so there was just the receptionist. She went out of her way to mop the floor. But we asked for another room but she said none was available. She gets four stars... More

We stayed there 2 nights in December 2011. Location: very close to the train station, literally, around the corner, 3 min walk max. Despite this fact, no noise at night, we slept well. This is a great advantage for those who are going to travel to Rome or Venice from Florence. Perfect position for exploring the city as well -... More

Of all the hotels and B&B's I stayed at during my 3-week trip in Italy, this property did not have the highest 'charm' quotient, but that aside, I would say that it was great value for money and more than anything else the location (a stone's throw from the train station and close to the Duomo) was perfect!! For this... More

This was our first time in Florence and this hotel really worked out for us. It was walking distance from the train station which was super convenient. It also had complimentary breakfast which wasn't that great- but was fine. It also came with a small refrigerator which we stocked with deli meat and saved money on lunches. Wifi was free... More

We arrived in Florence for 3 nights. Palazzo Vecchio Hotel was perfect for us. The bed is semi-hard but accomodating. Breakfast was cold foods, but plentiful and delicius, wifi free and with excellent coverage. The location is excelent, everything is within esy walking distance. All staff are very friendly and speak excellent english. I would happily recommend this hotel and... More

This hotel is ok, but I would look for a better option next time I visit Florence. This hotel is convenient to the train station which is good and about 15 minutes to the airport via taxi. We arrived there on December 27th and could not check in, the entire hotel was closed (presumably for the Christmas holiday) until 2:00... More

During the high season, finding this hotel was pleasant for us. Actually the hotel gets no more than 3* but the best advantage is it's location, which is just 5 min walk from the train station & close to tourist attractions. Lobby & entrance are not so welcoming. They need basic renovations. However our room was in a better condition.... More

Staff were very helpful. Rooms were plain with high ceilings, very clean and with very comfortable beds. We slept like logs. We moved to a courtyard facing room with a view of the Duomo and Medici Chapel from the balcony which was just great. Breakfast was fine - worth ordering room service breakfast for 4 euros per room to get... More
