My friend and I wanted to spend a week in Florence! We just happen to find this hotel. The location couldn't be more perfect, it is steps away from the historical center, and all the restaurants. Close to the train station without being in the middle of the market. The staff is friendly and helpful. the room is clean and...

I was very pleased overall with Hotel Bretagna. It has a tremendous location with easy walking access to all attractions and being right on the river makes it easy to find your way back to the hotel. The staff is super friendly and all speak excellent English. The hotel itself has a lot of character and charm (in a good...

Nice hotel in historical center of Florecne. Very good quality-price ratio. Rooms are clean and quit big. Part of rooms was designed in the Middle Ages style.
Our first time in Florence and we were unsure of what to expect. I loved the location of the Hotel Bretagna, although we had some trouble with our directions from the train station( but our fault as we took a wrong turn). Easy to walk to all sites and from train station with bags. The room was older but clean....

we were very satisfied with the location, ambient, atmosfere, and very kind staff, expecially on the reception desk

The location is fantastic and we loved that we could walk anywhere in a few minutes. Florence is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been.

All rooms have been remodeled still keeping furniture, frescoes and decorations of a past now gone. If the rooms are available, pick a river view room. You will be able to enjoy a...

The hotel is in a great location with secure outside doors, just outside the heavy tourist area (Ponte Veccio), but still in walking distance of great sight-seeing, shopping, drinking, and eating. We had a triple room with a river view. It was plenty spacious for three women to spread out their clothes, makeup, etc. It was easy to get to...
