4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2013 NEW

This hotel is a lovely hotel for the price. It does not purport to be a five-star hotel, but it has all of the necessaries and is right in the heart of old Florence, less than a minute's walk from the Baptistry and the Duomo and a couple of minutes' walk to Republic Square. We had no complaints at all.

OK, this hotel will win no prizes for it's decor but our room was clean if not a bit basic (but it does have a r/c TV). But to be fair, at this price, if all you want is a bed to sleep in then you couldn't go far wrong. The hotel is situated right next the Duomo on the... More

The location: is the only good memory I have. In front of "Dom", is very central and close to everything. The cleaning is not the best, the bath is really disgusting: dirty and without windows smelling sewer. The room walls were white in somewhere of past. The noise from the street is not confortable but not is a great problem.... More

Amazing location! This hotel is very reasonably priced and extreamly clean. Great large rooms, big windows, tall ceiling with a beautiful fresca painted on it. Had a great sleep after a long train ride! Breakfast was also a nice bonus.

The hotel is situated on the 2-nd floor of, I suppose, residential house (there seem to be private apartments of the previous floor), there's also another hotel on the above floor. The location is really perfect - 5 minutes of walking distance to Academia Gallery, Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio, 10 minutes to the central railway station. The Duomo is... More

The Hotel Costantini is one of Florence's hidden treasures for travelers wanting impeccably clean and comfortable lodging, a location that is "centralissimo", a price that is low for what you receive, and a genuinely friendly experience with the owner-managers, Ivo and Vally. The guest rooms are simply decorated (except for a few with ceiling frescoes!). In traditional Tuscan style, the... More

On previous Florence trips we have enjoyed staying at more expensive hotels such as the Monna Lisa and the Hotel Davide (the number #1 Florence hotel on Trip Advisor) but we feel that the Hotel Costantini beats them all into a cocked-hat for both value and location. I like to look at other reviews before posting mine and after doing... More

Unless you are looking for a Westin experience, this place is perfect and a great value considering the location. Couldn't be closer to the Duomo unless you were actually staying in it, good breakfast, free Wi-Fi, large rooms, friendly staff, good bathrooms. Several amenities not often found at this price- elevator, hair dryer, well lit room with reading lamps, small... More

We arrived in Florence via train from Rome which was really easy, hassle free, on time and comfortable. We got our direction finding the hotel from Stazzione Sta Maria Novella thru Google map and it was very good indeed. If you are arriving Florence in this train station, walk left as you disembark from the train and then turn right... More

I recently stayed at the Constantini Hotel, a recommandation of my business partner. Though my first impression was the place was rundown and would need a good fixup, it did not linger. The room i was granted was fair size, clean and had a good shower (not so common in Italy). I enjoyed the confortable double bed and the very... More
