We recently stayed for 5 nights at well-located Residence Hilda, on the top floor. Our spacious suite/apartment was very well appointed, thoughtfully put-together. Good residence, very clean and good renovated, friendly staff, but noisy rooms overlooking the street, even with closed windows; rather noisy air conditioning.

This hotel is more like a serviced apartment in Florence. Location is great-Duomo is at the end of your street. Don't expect room service, turn down service, excellent concierge, but the suites are very decent in size & clean. Location Good, but noisy. Some of the staff was excellent, others appeared bored & disinterested. Top floor Suite very large, modern & compfy. Felt like a movie star. Breakfast at First special but in the end was tasty and pub staff friendly.

Great staff, very helpful, location is great for walking to nearby popular sights as right beside The Duomo. The rooms are spacious and as we were there in January, lovely and warm, which was fantastic.

We stayed at the Residence Hilda, and will definitely stay there again. You are a two minute walk from the Duomo and town, very close to everything, restaurants, etc. The Hotel room that we stayed in was very spacious, very modern, and luxurious.
