My wife and I spent 3 nights there this Sept. for our honeymoon trip. Thanks to Simone, we were surprised by a big Martini and chocolates upon arrival! Everything is great and we feel pretty comfortable here just like home. Actually the 3 B&B we stayed in Italy are great :) More

This is a personally run Band B on the third floor of an old house. Simone, the owner, loves Florence and enjoys running this Band B ! He understands the needs of a visitor who is 'doing the sights' and wants clean accommodation at a fair price .On arrival he gave us very helpful local information and made our bookings for... More

I really hope to go bak to Florence and if Simone still has this place, no doubt I'll stay here. I have already recommended it twice to people I've met on the road and I would recommend it to anyone going to Florence. Simone, the owner is a very nice human being who went out of his way to help... More

We chose this B&B as we arrived with a car and it was possible to park outside on the street. It costs 12 EUR per day (you can pay for three days infront), and its only meters away from the inner ring (just beware, they clean roads once per week, and for that night you have to move the car!).... In general we were pretty disappointed with our stay at the Donatello B&B. First, the basics. The B&B is located on a corner outside the main "circle" that is historic downtown Florence. Our room and bathroom (bathroom is not attached, but it is private) were clean and comfortable. The breakfast consists of coffee that you make yourself and pastries that... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel in Florence, and it was great! Simone was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with a map and restaurant recommendations upon our arrival. The room was a nice size, and comfortable. More

It feels like home here. The room was spacious and clean. Simone the owner, is a joyful warmhearted Italian guy. He whistled old Soviet anthem to us amusing us with it and that was funny. He was very attentive to us... ... Rent a bike at the train station or in the city center and you'll be just fine (less... More

Simone is native to Florence, and has a lot of helpful ideas on places to visit. He offers help without being overbearing. As soon as we arrived, he served up pie and coffee, which we ate with gusto as we were starving after the train ride. The bed and breakfast is walking distance to most of the sights in Florence.... We stayed for 4 nights and being in Simone's b&b was a wonderful experience for us. The best thing about it was the owner's (Simone) hospitality. He explained everything there is to know about Firenze that was relevant to our trip and after following his tips we were extremely pleased. The room is large, beautiful and clean. The main light... Florence was my first stop in Italy. Donatello B&B was my first place to stay and it was the best place I stayed at in all of Italy. Simone (owner) was so welcoming and very patient with my Italian. He really made me feel at home and gave me tips on where to go what to see. This place looks... More
