This is a beautiful historical hotel right on the waterfront. The great thing is that it is away from the hordes. Very nice, but not comfortable as no easy access to tea or coffee. Missing a real room service as limited menu. Coffee or snack facility in lounge area sadly missing. Just finished 6 weeks through Europe and finished at the NH Grand Palazzo Hotel in Italy overlooking the sea. It was fantastic. A 5 star Palace. For a family gathering, stayed 3 nights and great stay: beautiful building by the sea side with the sea front promenade, rooms with high ceiling and well designed, however non functional bathroom but ils design. The Hotel is a "Grand". The style is completely 19th century. Ample corridors, foyer, etc. The room I stayed (executive business with sea view) at the second floor was spacious, clean, confortable... Unfortunately, if you want a sea view room you're also on the main road that can be pretty noisy... no way of keeping the windows open to listen... More
