We stayed in the separate wing from the main hotel. Its obviously recently renovated...lovely decor. These rooms have double glazed windows with external shutters and internal shutters meaning totally silent, totally dark room...bliss! Close to everything...but everything is close in Lucca. We stayed here one night. The location is a bit hard to find, but that could be said for much of Lucca. Very friendly and helpful staff. Provided access to a secure parking area inside the city walls. Comfortable room. Reasonable rate. Fine breakfast, especially if you like hard rolls, cheese, and meats.

Great location, walkable from train station in 5-10 minutes. Friendly front staff (especially Alessia) and a first rate breakfast. Competitive rates. Stayed in the main building. Fairly quiet. Only complaint is that I found the bed to be very hard.
