We only stayed two nights, but, would have liked to live there. The walls of our room were covered in beautiful Italian fabric. I saw other rooms in different fabrics. We immediately felt depressed when we checked in. There's something not quite right with the décor or lighting. On our way to our room, we walked passed a meeting with a medical themed power point presentation ongoing, which really didn't help. Hidden away in the woods, this villa was a package full of surprises! Friendly staff, characterfully styled rooms, a very unique (sometimes bizarre) art collection and a lot of facilities (pool, reading room) made our stay very comfortable and relaxing! The location is perfect, both Lucca and Pisa can be reached by car in less than 20 minutes.
