Lovely hotel just outside of the city. Staff was great and helpful. The room had a four poster bed and was very quiet. Breakfast was great! Was charged to use the guest computer, otherwise a near perfect stay. Great restaurant nearby called La Cecca. It was recommended by staff and was outstanding.

Don't be fooled: you cannot really walk to anywhere from this hotel, as it is on a main road, and certainly not into the beautiful city of Lucca. We booked this hotel because we know 5 star hotels are the only way to go in Europe. This was FAR from a 5 star hotel...interior was VERY tired. Food/restaurant was excellent as was the staff. But a little smelly and tired interior which was not great.
