We spent one night in Lucca and feel fortunate we came across this wonderful gem of a hotel. The location was perfect and on one of the lovliest of streets. They provide bikes to ride around the walled city. There is no swimming pool or fitness center but I was not able to delete those categories from the review below.

Good value for money, rooms are very clean and spacious and breakfast has a good choice of healthy and unhealthy options. Location is superb, just inside the wall and staff are very friendly.

As others have mentioned this is a great little hotel inside the walls of Lucca. Portal Santa Anna is the gate to arrive through, and again as another poster mentioned, advise them that you have a car in order for them to allocate a space in their small parking lot. Just returned from a 3 night break....a party of twelve friends. I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Spotlessly clean.The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble. It is perfectly situated for exploring the old walled city...just step outside the front door. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone.
