This hotel is in a great location, almost at the base of the escalators that take you up into the town's historic centre through the remains of Rocca Paolina which was a 16th-century fortress. The hotel is bright and clean with great views and breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. Definitely recommended!

I fell in love with this small hotel just outside the city walls but the location is just perfect if you travel on business. Clean, warm and the staff is adorable. Public transportations are steps away.

I have travelled all over Europe on business for many years but have never come across such an excellent receptionist as the gentleman at the Sangallo. Dealing with information requests etc with efficiency and a sense of hunour, he made the short stay extremely pleasant.
