We couldn't fault this hotel. Excellent rooms with very comfortable beds. Large shower and bathroom. Staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. Very convenient for trams (stop outside hotel) and train station (5 minutes walk). Would definitely visit again.

It's an Ibis budget hotel, so the rooms are small and a bit dull. Excellent shower, phenomenal service, good breakfast. One of the cheapest options in Basel; if you aren't looking for a destination hotel, it's perfect.

I have stayed at the Ibis Basel Bahnhof Hotel many times on business trips to Basel. The stuff is very friendly. Switzerland isn't cheap but at least the Ibis is good value, near the station, a 10 minute walk from the old Town, clean and comfortable rooms, a small bar for a late night beer, very friendly staff and a Basel mobility ticket free which enables you to travel around and get to the airport without the horrendous taxi fares!
