Rooms are utilitarian and prices gouged us taking advantage af the Baselworld trade fair. No restaurant except for breakfast buffet and wine choices in the bar were minimal. Very convenient to trams and railroad.

Stayed here over the weekend in one of their economy room and it was quite awesome. The room was big and bright, very modern and clean with all the amenities including a free wireless Internet. The breakfast was included as well! The location was great, very close to the main train station. Would definitely stay here again.

An old family-run hotel, which first opened in 1864. However, it has all been renovated, and it was a very comfortable place to stay. Convenient locatiion near train station, but tram point in front makes it noisy. Small duvet on bed means an average man can not cover head and feet. Room clean, but as expected at over 350 ChF per night. Breakfast buffet was bland / ordinary at best - Starbucks a better option. At this price in Basel you can do better.
