- Dorint Hotel An Der Messe

Expensive just like the rest of Switzerland but clean, comfortable and a great shower.
The rooms are small here, maybe typical for European hotels. I have seen much better. There is no A/C in the conference rooms and only a small number of rooms have A/C. The hotel was very confortable, clean and staff was very accomadating. Just a short walk to transportation.
Attractive, comfortable, friendly, well located hotel. Good advance-purchase, no-refund room rate, which is hard to find anywhere in Switzerland. This hotel is perfect for any activity happening at the Basel Messe and the rooms are nicely decorated, have coffee/tea makers, very comfortable bed and linens, perfectly clean, controllable air conditioning, and are well insulated for quiet, perfect for sleeping. Had...

We stayed there to visit friends that live in Basel. Just 15 minutes walk from the river so another 5 minutes to the city center. Very convenient. Room was a decent side, staff was friendly, parking good. CHF 20 so not that expensive by Swiss standards.
We stayed here for 5 days in a double room and it's a comfortable stay. The room is clean with modern & minimalist decor. The staff are friendly and professional. The hotel is not in the city center but only 5-10 mins away by the tram (no.14). The tram stop is just around the corner (2 mins walk). They gave...

Rooms are small but comfortable. Bathroom small, most of them equipped with a shower. Sometimes I find long, black hair...
