The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Cornavin train station, off the rue du Lausanne on a back street next to a youth hostel. The neighborhood wasn't pretty, but safe. The front desk staff arranged a (very early) check-in, booked cabs which came immediately, and were generally quite helpful.
